Mature adulthood offers multiple stressors – aging, illness, loss of friends and family, retirement, empty nesting, unscheduled free time – any or all of which require new strategies of self-care and support in order to sustain resilience throughout life’s many changes. This talk explores how to reduce the risks of substance abuse and addiction, and enhance the opportunities for growth and fulfillment.

Jerome Lerner, MD, Director of Professionals Program
As director of Sierra Tucson's Licensed Professionals and Executives Program, Jerry Lerner, MD brings together expertise in integrative healthcare, addiction, pain recovery, trauma, and leadership.  He previously served as director of Sierra Tucson's Pain Recovery Program and Medical Officer.  Wisconsin born and raised, Dr. Lerner received his medical education and specialty training at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and is a diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management.  He is board certified in Addiction Medicine.

The cost is $15 per person per seminar 
All seminars will be located at the Desert View Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 6pm and presentation will begin at 6:30pm. The presentations are approximately 90 minutes and will have a Q&A section at the end. All attendees will receive a take-home packet with additional information.
