July 11th: The Mature Adult and Addiction

Mature adulthood offers multiple stressors – aging, illness, loss of friends and family, retirement, empty nesting, unscheduled free time – any or all of which require new strategies of self-care and support in order to sustain resilience throughout life’s many changes.

This talk explores how to reduce the risks of substance abuse and addiction, and enhance the opportunities for growth and fulfillment.
