Art highly prized for its beauty and perfection. Not many bands can live up to such a description. But in this case of Tucson based band, TESORO, not only is this accurate, but it's the only way to describe the myriad of styles and talent that make up this outstanding group. Tesoro is one of the most exciting bands currently playing around the Southwest. A fusion of flamenco, rock, pop, rumba and cumbia guitars is the main focus of Tesoro. Founding members Brian Scott and Justin Fernandez long ago surpassed the label of prodigy and have now taken this music to an entirely new level. It is simply impossible to listen to the music created by these talented men and not find yourself dancing. Each band member shines when it comes to their instrument. With two live CD's under their belts, videos on YouTube, Tesoro is now in the process of recording their first studio album with producer/engineer Jim Waters (Sonic Youth, Chuck Prophel, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion). As they work on new recordings and future tours, Tesoro remains a must-see act, blending artistry and authenticity in every note!
