Multi-faceted Nicholas (Nick) Gallardo is a fixture to Tucson audiences, and is making quite a name for himself nationally and internationally. From cabarets to cruise ships, he’s everywhere!
Nick started performing at the age of eight, when he joined the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus. During his four-and-a-half years with the organization, he traveled both domestically and internationally, and shared the stage with luminaries such as Broadway’s original Annie, Andrea Mcardle, and multi-Grammy winner Linda Ronstadt.
He continued to perform while in high school, and it was then that he learned how to play guitar - a skill that would come in handy later when he began to perform music of Dion and Ritchie Valens. After leaving high school, Nick continued with his theatrical training, and went on to earn lead roles in Little Shop of Horrors and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, among others. He stretched his abilities even further when he spent six months at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN as a cast member in “Dreamland Drive-in”- a show he performed more than 400 times.
Most recently, Nick has been featured in December ’63: The Original Jersey Boys and Teen Idols with TAD Management, and has teamed with good friend Jared Mancuso on Not Fade Away, a tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper. His most recent stage credits include Forever Plaid (Jinx) and Annie Get Your Gun (Tommy), and 2015 marked his New York City cabaret debut at 54 Below.
